Lee’s creative background spans writing, branded entertainment, and film direction, all grounded in a belief that quick, collaborative thinking and transparency lead to great work.

As a director, Lee blends sharp comedic timing with an authentic lens, finding humor in honesty and resonance in relatability. His storytelling feels lived-in, creating funny everyday films from real, awkward, and honest life moments.

Earlier this year, his comedic documentary “Andre Is an Idiot” won both the Audience Award and the Editing Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

Lee has delivered breakthrough work for various clients across platforms and formats. Notably, he led the #OptOutside campaign for REI, which won the Cannes Titanium Grand Prix, and the Truth anti-tobacco campaign, which reduced teen smoking by 29% and became the most awarded PSA campaign of its time.

Lee’s work has been recognized by The One Show, Cannes Lions, the Emmys, the ANDYs, the Art Directors Club, the Clios, the Kelly Awards, Communication Arts, AICP, the Hatch Awards, and the London International Awards.
